Director of the British Council Bahrain

Mr. Richard Rooze is Director of the British Council in Bahrain. He has worked in English language teaching and teacher-training for the last 25 years, in a number of countries across Europe and the Middle East including Spain, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Hungary and the Czech Republic. His particular focus is on improving learning outcomes through better teacher education, and he has led reviews and consultations on teaching quality for a wide range of institutions. He is a regular contributor to conferences and events in Bahrain and in the region.
